Building a Europe for and with children

 

The  "Building a Europe for and with children" programme has been set up in the wake of the Third Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Council of Europe (Warsaw 2005).

It contributes to the implementation of  the Organisation's mandate to ensure an integrated approach in the  promotion of child rights. It also echoes the decision to launch a three-year programme covering the social, legal, educational and health dimensions of the protection of children from various forms of violence.

 

The programme comprises two closely related stands: the promotion of child rights and the protection of children from violence.

 

 

Le programme "Construire une Europe pour et avec les enfants" est un programme mis en œuvre dans le prolongement du 3ème Sommet des chefs d'Etat et de Gouvernement du Conseil de l'Europe (Varsovie 2005).

Il répond aussi au mandat confié à l'Organisation d'assurer une approche intégrée en matière de promotion des droits de l'enfant, ainsi qu'à la décision de lancer un programme d'action triennal couvrant les dimensions sociale, juridique, éducationnelle et de santé de la protection des enfants contre les diverses formes de violence.

Ce programme comprend deux volets étroitement liés : la promotion des droits de l'enfant et la protection des enfants contre la violence.
